Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia (SKMM) has launched Get Malaysian Business Online program, a government initiative to help at least 50,000 Malaysian businesses by assisting SMEs with RM 1,000 grant to set up websites and be active online to widen their market and increase sales.
“Program ‘Get Malaysian Business Online’ (GMBO) bagi membantu 50 ribu usahawan mikro, terutamanya wanita melonjakkan perniagaan dengan meningkatkan jualan secara atas talian dengan geran RM 1,000 melalui peruntukan RM 50 juta oleh SKMM”.

Terms & Conditions
Emerge GMBO’s RM 1,000 grant is subject to approval by SKMM.
Applicable for Malaysian citizens only, aged 18-65.
Registered a local domain name (.my/.com.my/edu.my/net.my/org.my) and an active website.
Must have registered company and business license.
Subscribed to an active broadband telecommunication service or a registered member of Pusat Internet 1 Malaysia (PI1M).
Must have a local bank account in the name of entrepreneur/business/company used for business.
Priority to micro-entrepreneurs with not more than 10 full-time employees or with annual income exceeding RM 200,000.
Application will be processed within 30 working days. The RM 1.000 grants will be credited into successful applicant’s account.
Product training is subject to pre-schedule class and is limited to 1 person.
